Public Education

We are committed to providing effective fire prevention programs and valuable fire safety resources for all ages.

We provide a variety of residential and commercial fire education services to educate everyone from children and youths to adults and seniors on the importance of Fire Safety at home, at school and at work.

Some of the available programs are:

School and daycare visits
Fire hall tours
Fire extinguisher training
Community engagement talks

Station Tours

Tours of your local fire station are available for large groups like school classes, day cares, senior groups, scouts or girl guides. School station tours are scheduled for Kindergarten classes in June each year - if you would like your class included, please email s.chidlow@mintofiredept.
